I will be using Auto Rx for the first time and had some questions in regards to it's application. Below are my vehicles.

1997 Toyota Supra Turbo (Inline 6 – DOHC, 60k miles). As you are aware, Turbo cars needs to be properly warmed up and cool down. This mean excessive idling. It my understanding that excessive idling will speed up carbon deposits in an engine. How may applications should I go through? What do you suggest on mileage? This car does not have oil leaks (engine wise, tranny is another story…LOL!).

1997 Mercury Mountaineer (5.0L V8, 38k miles). Recently, the Mountaineer developed valve tapping noise. Should I go through 2 applications as directed on the Auto Rx site for V8's? What do you suggest on mileage? (No oil leaks).

Regards,
Brian

Thee is no difference in a V-8 or 6 cylinder,Turbo or not. . It is the oil capacity that dictates amount of Auto-Rx ( 2 ounces per quart of oil plus 2 ounces for oil filter one bottle treats 5 quart oil resovoir & filter ) exception is engine mileage if over 100,000 than
two Auto-Rx treatments are needed.

Sorry, I should have stated 2 treatments, not applications. Thanks Frank.

Use in conjunction with dino oil for max cleaning and a new filter of course. I've done 3 cleans on my Mazda 626 turbo. Getting dynoed this Saturday and hopefully better ring seal will see an HP increase.
