Has anyone seen this stuff? With a price of $48 per bottle I can't imagine there are hundreds of thousands of regular users out there.

Mugen and King Motorsports are not fly-by-night snakeoil hucksters, but rather companies involved with serious performance machinery. So, I'm sure the stuff works close to, if not exactly as advertised. Still, I'd rather just buy a high quality oil with a stout additive package already blended in.

At least they are telling people to use it sparingly ... be only 3-5% of a typical sump. One bottle must be good for several oil changes.

Also...sounds VERY similar to a certain Schaeffer product...could be #132?

And I am sure that does not sell for $48

'Kule, yep, Mugen (Pronounced: Mew + hard "G" + en) is a high-tech, high-performance engine company which has worked with Honda over the past few decades like the way Cosworth works with Ford and Ilmore works with Chevy/GM.

So yes, it's a Japanese company.

I would never buy this stuff ... but I'd like to see the ppm level of moly. From all the cautions and the recommended application/treat rate, I'd guess it is well over 1,000 ... maybe even 2,000 or more.
