My dad's looking for some BG 44K top flush down his fuel plumbing in the vette and so far we havent been able to locate any. I guess we're going to have to buy it at the local chevy dealer.

I was curious what your opinions were on it? We have had a lot of success with it as a very strong cleaner. Also are there any other fuel additives worthy of putting through the vette to clean it out? Its got 35,000 miles on it currently. Thanks

It's good, but very powerful stuff. Make sure you change the oil and filter after a couple tanks of gas. BG 44K is concentrated "techron." Actually, I believe they sell the base product to Chevron, which in turn, dilutes it. It's my understanding that Amsoil PI is similar technology.

I got my BG 44K from the internet.
Good prices on extreme motor sports.

Techron is manufactured by Chevron at their Belle Chase Facility outside New Orleans. They do not buy a conentrate and dilute it.

Fuel Additives I have used:

Although i do not have any fuel injector flow data or pictures of my pistons to correlate thier effectiveness.

Redline S1, Techron and Lucas are my personal favorites.
