I have been looking at Peak motor oil deals going right now. How good is this oil? There is very little information on it. About the only piece of information I see is the PQIA VOA report here:

I am not a chemistst, so I don't know what to make of it. It seems like the additive content is comparable to the averages of all test oils. In fact TBN and Molybdenum are a little above average, which are thought to be a good metric here. What about the base stock? How good is it?
The oils I want to compare Peak oil to are Valvoline Nextgen. I have been thinking of picking up Nextgen for cars that use 5W20, since so many deals are going on right now for Nextgen and Maxlife Nextgen, but Nextgen 5W20 appears to be more or less an "average" brand name oil, with the only notable thing going for it so far is that it's based on re-refined base oil, with additive package not being outstanding (correct me if this is wrong). On the other hand, NextGen Maxlife 5W20 (my preference, since it has better additive pack and semi-synthetic base oil) is pretty much not available as a part of many deals going on right now. In fact, the only way to buy it appears through special order from Walmart. So I am thinking of getting batch of Peak 5W20 instead.
(BTW: That's for a 2005 Ford 500.. this car could easily work with 5W30, but I want to explore what deals I can have for it with the recommended 5W20 grades).
