It finally arrived!! Picked it up on Saturday. They went over it with me for an hour, put it on a load and all that good stuff. And of course when it comes to the oil, I asked what does Honda Recommend? He stated (and is in the manual as well) SAE 10W-30 SJ or later motor oil. No mention of Synthetic what so ever (in the om either) When I asked him about Synthetic oil, he said to just use regular 10W-30. And no mention of why no Synthetic. So, I`m torn between a good Dino like PYB or GTX. Or a good Synthetic like Mobil-1 10W-30. It takes 1.2 quarts of oil. what do you guy`s think?

I don't have any small motors (except my echo) but ACD would be my choice.

Mostly going to be sitting. In use when we loose power (which seems to happen alot anymore)

Runs well on Mobil 1 0W-30 from Wallyworld

(almost silent operation in variable speed mode and sits right under master BR window and does not wake up from sleep even when it starts at 0200am)

I saw that Genny over @ my dealer. Very nice unit! And like you mentioned, very quiet. So your running MB-1 0W-30 in yours huh?
