For my '01 M-B E320. Just wondering if anyone has any observations of one being better quality than the other. Both are within a couple of dollars of each other.

Thanks.

Bosch is likely not even making the plug wires -- a lot of their aftermarket stuff like that is outsourced.

Who makes the OEM ones?

Not sure who is OEM- I had heard it is Bosch, but I think that is speculation. I have not see any identifying marks or info on wires myself.

I never heard that Bosch is out-sourcing plug wire sets.

I do know that at one time Bosch vendor Bremi was supplying the metal jackets for some boot wires.

I'd go with whoever made the OEM stuff. Bosch is very good for critical ignition components.

Like I said, I'm not sure. A lot of the stuff branded as Bosch is not made by them. Doesn't mean it's inferior though.

Wipers, plugs, and oxygen sensors are some of their core offerings in the consumer market.

But I THINK they all supply OEM alternating so you'll find identical OEM part numbers on parts from any of the three.

Here are the links

Bremi (select english) http://www.en.bremi.de/b

You probably noticed but the wires in my link are made by Beru.

I worked in a store that sold both. I do not think the Bosch were nearly as good as the STI. Get a look at both, it will answer your question.
