What friction modifier do?

Hi,

I hear a lot about friction modifier in synthetic oil like royal purple and other syn oil. Is this increase something? Mpg? Performance?? What modifiers do we have to chck for?

In simple terms, friction modifiers reduce friction. This results in less heat being generated as well as improved MPG, at least on paper.

a very best one is "lubegard bio engine oil protectant"tons of moly and another is lat's liquid friction reducing by lubeatech.
