CO-OP DMO 15W-40 — Mercedes-Benz MBE4000 — 230 Hrs

Here are two UOAs from two different Sterling LT9500's with the MBE4000 @ 450 HP.

I am using CO-OP DMO 15W40.

These trucks are tandem axle grain trucks and have alot of idle hours, it took over a year to get this many hours on them.

The TBN is 11.7, that seems high considering new oil has a TBN of around 10 according to the spec sheet.

bsigg - Typically these engines handle longer OCIs and benefit from using a conforming synthetic lubricant

Is this DMO Gold, or just DMO?

It is the older DMO, that is Cl-4+ rated, not the CJ-4 stuff.

IIRC they call the CJ-4 stuff "DMO Gold".
