Group one hundred-eleven is that a WUBASE product?

group 3 or group III would be the correct terms.

I is the ninth letter of the alphabet,1 is a numeral and represents a single unit.
Which is better,"ie","ie","ie",or one,one,one?
I agree that,by convention,"ie","ie","ie",has been adopted by this board,so no more bucking the trend.
"ie","ie","ie",it is,or rather III.

Have you heard of Roman numerals?

III = three
111 = one hundred and eleven

If 111 could mean three, we would have quite a hard time counting big numbers, wouldn't you say?

111 means one-hundred and eleven, not three. In the same way, 11 means eleven, not two.

As for III meaning three, this isn't a BITOG convention. As QuattroPete pointed out, it's the Roman numeral for three. That representation predates BITOG by quite a long time.
