Motomaster (Canadian Tire) Diesel Oil

Is one of few HDEO's stocked where I live in a 10w30 grade.

Who makes this oil? Anyone used it/had it tested?

I'd prefer 10w30 Rotella but I'm just stumped finding it here. Would this be a comparable substitute?

Probably made by Shell. Part Source has the Delo 10W30

Good question. I too have been searching out Rotella T 10w30 with no success. Is Delo 10w30 a comparable product?

The MSDS sheets are on Canadian Tire's website, you have to know their product code to get the right sheet. The sheet tells who made the oil.

Shell makes it all last time I checked them on the MSDS link above....motomaster, formula 1, autolab, nugold....all Shell products.
I love the Autolab 15w40, $10 a jug, I run it in all my air cooled mowers.

It's probably repackaged Rotella. I wonder if it would have the same additive package as Rotella at that price.

There is either a UOA or VOA of thi oil in that section, but darned if I can find it.......

I prefer Chevron lubes over Shell's. Maybe both are equal, but in no way are Chevron's inferior.

so I called shell, they said motomaster diesel oil is repacked rotella T3, this is why it is cheaper than rotella T, the additive pack is slightly weaker
