Why do you have to disassemble it???????
For the price of them these days, you might as well buy a new one.
Second the "why" question. If it's a CRT, disassembly can be pretty dangerous.

Could you not just use a pin and carefully push them back up and out?

That's not good. I'd just leave it alone if the video drivers fixed the issue as indicated in your other thread.

I Googled "asus monitor disassembly" and saw a couple photos for different units. It looks like the front and back plastic pieces are snapped together, and depending on the model, there may be a couple screws somewhere behind the stand's mount.
