1998 Olds 88. Turn signals not working.

Here`s what it does:

Moving the turning signal lever does nothing. Lights don`t blink,light up,no relay sound,nothing whatsoever. But,the bulbs are fine and the hazzards work.

Any ideas what to start checking?

The hazards probably work off a separate blinker unit,if left and right turn both fail to work,I would say the flasher unit itself.Is there a fuse for it?

Sometimes the hazard switch is upstream of the turn signals, its resting position could be bad.

Turned out to be a little relay called a "signal flasher" that`s under the panel below the steering wheel. $4.99 at Oreilly. A 1 minute parking lot repair :^)
