Lubri-gas as upper cylinder lubricant

In doing an internet search for upper cylinder lubricant, I came across this article:

Although familiar with MMO, I'd not heard of Lubri-gas, and I thought an advanced search on BITOG would reveal more, but alas, no!

Never saw Lubrigas but I do remember the old Bardahl Upper Cylinder Lube. Not sure if that is still made. Does anyone know what affect these UCLs have on cat converters? If they are not thoroughly combusted, you will delivering a constant amount of hydrocarbon to the cat which could result in higher cat temps and shorter cat lives.

Further research shows many are using TCW3 oil as UCL at 1 oz to 5 galls ratio.
