Hey guys,
After much research, it seems there is only a two oil alternative but is there an oil on the market that meets both the VW gasoline engine specs 503/505 and VW diesel 505.01, 504/507?

Doesnt M1 ESP 5w-30 meet the latest VW gas and diesel specs? The latest ones supercede earlier ones.

Beware of running low SAPS in ga$$ers though.

Just to be clear, it meets engine test requirement stipulated in ACEA A5, but it doesn't actually meet the whole ACEA A5.

True and I think it's impressive. I ran this oil during a summer and I had ~2 mpgs better mileage over the Castrol SLX OE of the same weight. If the M1 was as cheap as the SLX I'd use it every time.

gas specs:
502
503
504

diesel specs:
505
506
507

usually, you'll find something that meets 502.00/503.01/505.00/505.01 or 504/507

which one are you looking for?

I see... Just something that more or less meets both the gas and diesel specs for 2009 and older vehicles. To clarify, I assume the 504 and 507 are the latest and greatest specs from VW?

I'm sure it would perform admirably in most applications but not approved by VW for any of the above specs.
