Hmmm, doing some price research on Motorcraft Specialty Green something interesting showed up. It appears that from both the Ford and Motorcraft sites (linked below), that all Motorcraft Premium and Specialty Coolants have gone to a premix. Nowhere do I see a full strength listed, and that includes Premium Gold (G-05), which used to be available in a full strength version. That would make full strength Zerex G-05 a better deal.

I guess my next question is, are sure the MS Green you purchased is full strength?

As for the prices from two local Ford dealers for MS Green, one was $17.33, one $24.63. However, if those are prices for premix, while one is clearly better, I'd still easily choose PGL full strength.

And yes, the Asian's/Japan spec a P Hoat and assuming Hyundai followed suit, then MS Green would be applicable, but I've not seen that to be a fact.

As for G-05 citing/reference, while some may use it in an Asian vehicle, as long as other full srength coolant like PGL is available that would not be my choice.

If Ford/Motorcraft has now gone to all premix coolants, as it appears, that is a shame imo. Premium Gold used to be an option for those wanting a full strength G-05 coolant.

Ford has not gone to premix. They are concentrate. If you read that closely it says what a 50/50 mix will protect to, not that what is in the bottle is a premix.

Ohhh ok, good to know. Quite a difference in price for MS Green between the two stores though. At $17-18 a gal, a good option then for PHoat full strength. At $24-26/gal, pass.
