Interesting. While Im not sure Id go for the coopers if in the market for the BFGs, for an application where I was doing a lot of "off road" driving where something more aggressive than an HT tire and less than a BFG AT or MT tire is needed, cooper would get my pick.
 
i really like the bfg's, i had a set on a wrangler once and they were great tires. the only complaint i had was they tend to hydroplane, it seems to be a common complaint with the bfg's which is why i'll be buying the coopers the next go round.

I was unaware of the existence of the cooper AT tire when I got recently got these:

I am kind of itching to get them offroad with a little speed, but so far I am happy with their on road and highway manners.

The Coopers would likely have been in the final 3 had I been aware.
