It looks like most of the "Castrol" synthetic oils might have some Mysterious "Organic" additive that does not or will not show up on VOA's performed by trained lab professionals in national laboratories.

Now maybe...just maybe some of the store brand oils that don't show many additives may also contain this "Mysterious Organic" add pack that ONLY appears with good UOA results. Time will tell us....

Old school for sure. No moly, no boron. Viscosity is a bit low compared to the datasheet. GC and M1 0W-40 are surely better choices.

Is there an analysis for the updated version of this oil? 5W40 Castrol Edge STP SM (Black Bottle).

Although this may be a Canada only product, the one sold in the US looks like it's SN.
