changing the oil in my buddies 2004 titan tomorrow. i knew the old altimas and the titans use the same filter, so i gave him the extra filter i had. but i noticed the filter is small for that engine. is there an oversized filter that will fit the titan?

Stock filter for Titan and older 2.5 Altima is oem 15208-9E000 (i think 9E00c is the newer part #)
They look small, but for the recommended oil change schedule from Nissan, they should have plenty of capacity.

alright. i got the purolator P1 14610, was wondering if they had an oversized one that would fit.
Personally, I'd like to find out. My friend pays for the RP filters when he can get it as a deal at Pep Boys with RP oil etc, but it's a TINY TINY filter too!

Where is the filter located and how much room is around it?
