ScanGauge II Firmware Revision Out

For those of you who have a ScanGauge II, Linear Logic has a firmware update out. The latest version is 4.02. Included updates add a few new gauges supported out of the box, and a performance monitoring feature.

Cost to update is $25. I'm going to update my SGII with its V3.15 firmware.

Whups, the latest version is 4.05. Their Web site is out of date.

Did they fix the bug that makes it register that I burn several thousand gallons per tank full? I'd love to see a changelog.

Don't know. That'd be a question to ask them directly.

Would I pay $25 if the UltraGauge were to offer an update which I am interested in?

For me it's worth the upgrading since my SGII has more than paid for itself in gas savings. Getting a new car soon with CAN, the additional coding upgrades are worthwhile. I can't get an UltraGauge for $25, either.

I would pay $25 if Ultra-Gauge were to offer an update to include Oil Temp and Oil Pressure for Honda S2000 and MB E430.

I like my SG2 just the way it is, and it's not worth it to send it in and possibly have it get lost in the mail, or have it take a month to be returned to me.
