lend/lease korean.
NEW springfield 4 groove barrel.
And an original bandlier of clips WITH ammo, including on clip of AP and one clip of incindiery

I'm happy.
I'll post pics in a day or two when I get done with my rav4 project.

Yeah I got a CMP Garand as well. This one was one we gave to Denmark, but its a real cobbled together piece. The barrel is Danish, the guts are Beretta marked, and the receiver is Springfield. Had two different kinds of wood on it as well.

Shot fine. Im having it refinished and getting a new Dupage walnut stock set on it soon.

They are a cool piece of history. Man makes you feel bad for those old GI's when ya feel just how heavy those things are compared to an original M16 or an M1 Carbine. But they were dead reliable. In the Philippines some were in combat a week solid with no lube or cleaning according to field reports. Cant do that with an M4.

Nice! I love mine from CMP. Only problem I had with mine was that the clip would pop out after 3 or 4 shots so I replaced the spring that holds it in and its been running great!
