My grease gun finally ran out. When I pulled the tube, I discovered that (for the last few years) I've been using Slick 50 "1" Grease. Supposed to be the "1" grease for everything. It's sorta a green color.

So, in goes a tube of red Mystic JT-6 high-temp.

I rotate between Amsoil and Mobil 1, right now it is Mobil 1, cannot say I see a difference whether I use Amsoil or Mobil 1 grease. JMO

regular lithium costal grease NLGI #2. When it is all gone, i have a few tubes of pennzoil lithium grease that will go in.

Same here.

I would try Schaeffers if I did not have to buy multiple case lots at a time.

Valvoline Durablend.

I bought several tubes of it years ago because it met specs for Fords, as well as the other car manufacturers.

In many grease varieties, you had to choose between Ford or the rest of the auto builders.

That in mind, in every shop I worked in, we used whatever grease was given to us.

A good friend of mine uses that Ford grease with moly. Swears that it's the best thing since sliced bread for the deck spindles on his riding lawnmower.
