Yep, anyone who can take a 500 S&W and hit a target at 230 yards OFF-HAND is clearly "one of the best in the world with a handgun."

Yeah that was a heck of a shot, long distance handgun shooting is a lot of fun.

My range isn't that long but I shoot out to 100 yards all the time. Golf balls and paint balls make fantastic targets.

I find that a lot of people at ranges restrict their handgun shooting to silly close ranges, like 15-20 yards. Its a shame because with a full size piece you can easily engage targets at 100 yards, sometimes more.
