Compare Hoppes #9 plus to virgin semi-sweet light crude. Makes me think they are the same stuff.

I hate the smell of #9. It reeks and its hard to get out of things plus it stains like crazy. No matter how much you wash it your gun rags stink and are stained forever. But [censored] it, its the best cleaning solution Ive ever used.
