I have an AFE air filter, I like the quality and it seems a well respected brand. So I'm interested in knowing more about the oil filter as well. There are some pretty bold claims on their website that make one wonder.
Quote:
The Pro-Guard D2 Oil Filter outflows and has a high filter efficiency than all other oil filters on the market today.

And they show this image on all of the oil filters, including diesel.

Seems impossible that all of their oil filters rate this well compared to "Other synthetics". The site also makes mention of NF21 synthetic media which I find no reference to anywhere else. Who makes the AFE oil filters any way? Anyone have any experiences using one?

aFe oil filters are made by Champ Labs, they are almost identical to Royal Purple filters. They also have a opening for the end of s 3/8" inch drive on the back of the filter, similar to K&N for this 1 inch "nut". I have not used one yet but plan to.

I also have cut one open and have pics, let me find them.
