Any synthetic or silicon grease/lube sprays (call me lazy) out there that are safe to use on rubber bushings ?
It has been brought to my attention that some silicon sprays are petroleum based and should not be used on rubber bushings.

If you are just looking to lube them (and NOT 'swell' them), then the Sabestos/Wurth "Rubber Care" spray is about the best stuff out there.

BUT, it IS $$$$$$$$$, and NOT very easy to find on the shelf.

If a spray silicone had any HC it would only be for a carrier, and would evaporate out pretty quick without damaging the rubber.I 2nd Wurth - 99% of their stuff is perfect for it's intended purpose.

I used to use Seiken PL-7S for assembling brake cylinders, made for the job.

Rubber bushings should not be lubed [normally].
It is Urethane bushings that need lube.
rubber flexes, and urethane slides against the bolt/pin.
