On a 02 Intrepid 3.5 it will start right up after it has been shutdown less than a few minutes and sometimes I can get it to fire right up without a lot of cranking when I put the proper pressure on the gas pedal, but other times it takes forever to final start.

Ever since I did an MMO soak on my Saturn and INCREASED oil consumption I have pretty much been against putting anything foreign into a car, but if this fix is possible it may be worth a shot.

Try one bottle of Redline SL-1 fuel additive in a full tank of gas. Run that tank down to 1/8 before refilling. Then use Redline SL-1 at the recommended dose of one bottle to 100 gallons.

You can get a 100 ml plastic graduated cylinder at McMaster-Carr. They are great for allowing you to measure the Redline SL-1 each time you add gas.

Redline SL-1 will clean your fuel system and keep it clean. And it will improve you MGP's enough to pay for the cost of it, and then some. You can buy it a Pep-Boys.
