Have searched around for the answer, but can't find it. Has anyone ever done lab testing on a typical gallon of Chevron 87 to find out how much techron or other additives were present? I ask this because I see several different recommendations about quantities to add to a tankfull or per gallon to help the lower priced fuels. I know there are recs. on the bottle of techron, but was just curious about ACTUAL amount added to the Chevron pump gas we buy. Am sure it will vary place to place, but is there a formula how it should come from the pump?

the msds says NONE. read it and weep.

Here's an older post of mine on the subject. I believe it answers your question.
