Valvoline maxlife ATF - dexron vi ??????

Don't know about Canada, but all Valvoline has to say is that their product 'meets or exceeds' Dexron VI specs. and they are hom free.

They only pay a fee IF they say, Dexron VI 'approved'.

So an ATF can not claim to be good for all vehicles?

It can only claim one brand or the other but not both?

That makes things even less clear....

Reading through some forums on fast/powerful GM transmissions like those coupled to LT-1 engines, a lot of forum poster say full synthetics can not be used as they are too slick and the transmissions fail with full synthetics in them???!!!

That sounds nuts to me, but if Maxlife is full synthetic and I have an old Transmission that only requires Dex IIe or III, then Maxlife as a full synthetic ATF may actually be bad for my older transmission.

I'm sure Petro Canada loves these free promotions you do for them. They need more brilliant minds like you. Keep up the good work!
