Tonight will be "Big Brussel" (Son loves Brussel sprouts, but loathes cabbage).
1lb ground meat (lamb tonight)...browned.
Couple of big cloves of Garlic grated finely
Medium Brown Onion stir fried to translucent with the meat.
Packet of Chicken Noodle Soup
Tablespoon of Curry powder
Couple of tablespoons of soy sauce (mushroom soy for a change)
Couple tablespoons of dry sherry (of chinese cooking wine)
Dash of fish sauce.
Red bell pepper x1
Green beans chopped around half a lb
Broccolli chopped around half a lb (not chinese frozen, I found wire in some the other day).
Diced carrot.
Peas if they take my fancy.
Silverbeet similarly.
Choko leaves similarly
Quarter of a medium cabbage finely shredded.
Cook together.
Serve with basmati rice, absorption cooked with Turmeric and Cardomom seeds (spices fried in a little ghee before the rice)...alternatively egg noodles, fried with a little onion, and curry powder.
Serves all four of us Sunday Night, and I get 3 work lunches.
