Seriously though, mine was leaking a little, and given the reputation of this engine I don't mind looking inside now and then. Also there's a baffle on the cover which prevents you from seeing any of the internals without removing the cover.

To see whether the oil you're using is going its job or not.
 
All those pics look just fine.
Once you've seen a real sludge engine.... everything from small pockets of goo to jello molds of the inside of the valve cover, pics like the ones in this thread make you realise that ALL it takes to stop the 1mz and 5sfe from sludging up is to change the freekin oil.
