For those who've been fans of the Indy 500, one of the greatest contributors to it's success was Mr. Tom Carnegie.
As someone who grew up in Indianapolis during the glory years of the 60's, 70's, and 80's his booming voice is etched in my memory. From "It's a newwwww track record!" to "Heeeee's on it!" no one will ever have the same impact.
