For SAE and Metric I have
1) combo wrenches
2) ratcheting box end
3) box end-box end
4) obstruction wrench (box end-box end)
5) both 6 & 12 pt sockets
6) both deep and normal 6 pt impact socket
7) flare

I think my favorite is the box-box as I can bring only a few wrenches with me and pick up many sizes. HF does not have them, but Craftsman does.

My problem is if I get anymore wrenches I will need a second tool cabinet or more drawers for my current, just worried that might put it up too high.

I'm thinking I'll be needing another roll-around with chest soon for all the extra's I keep buying. I can only toss so many into buckets & ice cream pails etc.

Well, for the wrenches at home, this is about all I have:

SAE wrenches:

Snap On Flank Drive Plus Combos 12 pt 1/4-1"
Williams, Mac, Bonney & Armstrong regular 12 pt combo 1/4-1 5/8"
Mac regular 6 pt combo 1/4-1"
Craftsman and Snap On short 12 pt combo 3/8-1 1/4"
Mac half moon double box end
Snap On 4 way angle wrench set 1/4- 1 5/16"
Mac tappet wrench set
Mac and Snap On ignition wrench set
assorted double box end and double open end
assorted Snap On wrenches for starters, injection pumps, and distributors
Bonney & Proto tubing wrenches, 6 & 12 pt
Snap On Flex head wrench set 1/4-7/8"
Bonney & Snap On 3/8" drive crowfoot sets (regular & tubing style)

Metric

Bonney 6-19 mm combo 12 pt
Wright 6-36 mm combo 12 pt
Mac tubing wrench set
assorted double box and open end wrenches Wright, Bonney & Armstrong

Sockets:
1/4 & 3/8 & 1/2 drive shallow, deep, & flex SAE & Metric Bonney, Snap On, Wright, Cornwell
1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 drive 8 pt sets Billings, Proto, Snap On, Blackhawk
3/4" set Bonney, OTC, Snap On, Billings

Most ratchets are Snap On with a couple Bonney, Armstrong, Wright as well

Of course there are all the extensions, breaker bars, 3 foot breaker bar, speed wrench, Snap On's magnetic end adapters which push through the socket to hold a bolt on.

Then there are my other sets in my trailer or the $5 flea market New Britain Tool's 3/8 socket set with speed wrench and flex sockets and sockets and wrenches "just floating around"

I think I have a slight tool problem.......

bob

Combo Box/Open
Big combo wrenches for AC work
Tappet wrenches (a few)
Obstructions
Offsets
Crow foots (feet??)
Flare Nut
Flare nut crow foots (feet??)
"Crescents"
Pipe
Tiny ignition wrenches
Sockets and ratchets
Fan wrench (looks like a long bent screwdriver with a 1/2 box end)
Special spark pug wrench for the IROC:

Made out of an old, broken Craftsman offset wrench (with a little heat and grinding). I have no idea how Dad broke it. It slips right over the plugs. I wouldn't be able to remove plugs 6 and 8 without it.
