Anyone ever need to lube the tracks for their motorized seat belts?

My '91 Mazda Protege' has the passive restraint system and being in the desert for 7+ years may have aged the lube in the tracks & attracted lotsa grit. OK operation when its warm but cold weather makes the belts move like pond water! Any tips on a good lube/grease?

P.S. Power sunroof is moving slow as well..

Johnson Controls uses a NLGI Grade 1 lithium soap thickened mineral oil grease for the seat assemblies they supply to manufacturers. I imagine any light-bodied lithium based grease should do the trick. Ideally, you should clean out the old grease.

The sunroof is a completely different matter. Somebody makes a special lube for that application.
