Great news !! I just received a letter from the Chrysler Corporation that said:
"This letter is to inform you that the warranty period has been extended for Window Lift Plate repairs on your Chrysler Group LLC Jeep Liberty to 7 years from the vehicles original in service date with no mileage limitation. This extended warranty coverage applies to Jeep Liberty model years 2006-2007.
....Chrysler is taking this action to demonstrate its commitment to your continued satisfaction."
There are a great many Jeep Liberty owners that have had problems with their power windows working properly. I have had 3 fail, and without a warranty, the repairs would have been over $1,000! Chrysler did say in their letter that any repairs done at owners expense would be reimbursed.
A big thank you to Chrysler for doing the right thing for these owners!
