Mopar M0-090 oil filter, 0.5qt in filter
Total oil fill 5.5qt

'76 351M engine coming out has 91K miles and has been burning oil 50mi/qt for some time
'72 351CJ engine going in has 10K miles on an .030 overbore rebuild with RV cam, 2V heads

first fill will be:
Mobil Clean 5000, 10W30, est 5.0qt in crankcase
16oz of Marvel Mystery Oil (0.5qt)
Motorcraft FL-1A oil filter, 0.5qt in filter
Total oil/MMO fill 6.0qt
 
Two today:

My car - '96 Camaro (3.8L), 187K, Pennzoil Platinum, Delco UPF52. Car only sees 2K/year, last fill was almost 18 months.

Parent's car - '04 Accord (V6), 104K, Mobil 1, Purolator.
 
4 cars this week:

my 91 pathfinder w/ 199K miles 5w30 castrol gtx, purolator filter

wife's 04 Accord V6 54K miles 5w20 castrol, proline filter

sister's 05 Audi A4 1.8T w/ 44k miles 5w40 synpower, audi filter

sister's 05 toaureg V6 w/ 40k miles 5w40 synpower, vw filter
 
Dumped the oil in my Miata today. It only had about 1000 miles on it, but the last oil that came out was very metallic looking, and I wanted to see it again after another track weekend. Oil was M1 0W-40, I refilled with four quarts of M1 0W-30 AFE. No reason, really, other than to try something new. Probably will go back to the M1 0W-40 after this run. No filter change, as I only have 1000 miles on the M1 EP filter that is on there!

4 quarts of Redline 10w30 synthetic & Wix oil filter every 2500 miles

prior to trying Redline 10w30, it was Brad Penn 10w30 also with a Wix filter every 2500 miles

How do you like Maxlife? I think I am going to try it next time around.

5quarts? You're a quart short...the 4.0 takes 6. I use Max Life in my Jeep and from what I can "tell" it likes it. My Jeep used nothing but Rotella 5W40 for many years, but the rear main started weeping, so I tried the Max Life and the weeping stopped. I think I'm going to stay with it.
 
1995 grand am 3.1L - Rotella T5 10w-30 with group 7 oil filter (puro classic)

before the T5, it had Mobil 1 EP 10w30 with Fram Xtended Guard oil filter.

and I forgot to post the last one for my deville..

1990 Cadillac Deville 4.5L - Rotella T6 5w-40 with Fram Xtended Guard oil filter.

(yes I just now noticed the BITOG favorite oil 2010 :p )
