I would not use anything less than a moly fortified (#2) grease. I regrease every 30,000 miles if hauling. Every 75,000 miles if not. Depends on your vehicle weight and use.

This stuff is great. I no longer have to grease at 8 hour intervals as I did with Lithium Complex. These u-joints differ from your automative u-joints in that they are exposed to the lots of dirt and water plus take lots of shock loading. So it should work even better in an automotive application.
