Aluminum complex grease ok for u joints?

Yes, if the grease has moly and other EP agents. I would not use anything less than a moly fortified (#2) grease.

I regrease every 30,000 miles if hauling. Every 75,000 miles if not. Depends on your vehicle weight and use.

I use Schaeffer's Aluminum Complex grease on the Power Take-off u-joints for several pieces of farm equipment.

This stuff is great. I no longer have to grease at 8 hour intervals as I did with Lithium Complex.

These u-joints differ from your automative u-joints in that they are exposed to the lots of dirt and water plus take lots of shock loading.

So it should work even better in an automotive application.
