Which Grease for What??

Don't know which one to use? Have two here, Texaco Starplex 2 and Multifak. Want to do U-joints / D-shaft splines and then front end. What's the difference between the two other than the Texaco literature saying almost exactly the same thing? BTW the Starplex is quite fibrous and red, the Multifak is buttery and blue/green, for what it's worth.

Starplex resists much higher temperatures, using a lithium complex soap. Usually lithium complex greases are better at higher RPM's, stick better, and require less re-greasing. But I've never used either of these.
Multifak is nothing more than an entry level lithium grease.
