I posted back in September my 6,000 mile analysis on my current fill.

This analysis is 7,100 miles on the same oil.

Car's total miles is 31,000 now.

The oil had 1,100 more miles on it than my last report. It did decrease some. It sheered quite a bit during these 1,100 miles.

I think it's a very solid report. No harm done here. I do think this particular oil TBN starts out a bit low to go the 10-13k mile intervals. Glad I only had 7,000 on it.

Again, this oil is NOT the diesel version. This is a Formula M, that is NOT ESP, Merc dealers have this for some reason. Ok...here are the numbers...

Personally, I don't think it's high. My fresh oil has 4 ppm from remnants.

The average is 12 with 5,000 miles. Seems spot on the average essentially counting for the extra 2,100 miles.
