Connecting laptop to TV - remote control?

I connected a spare laptop that I have to my TV. I am using it to watch youtube, VEVO, maybe netflix...is there a decent remote control that I can buy to control the this from the couch? I don't need DVR functions, just streaming content. It is running Windows 7 Professional...

I was thinking something with a receiver that plugs into a USB port?

I have my laptop connected to my LCD TV with VGA cable...pretty good pic quality when I want to watch TV episodes on Hulu.
I control the laptop with a wireless mouse (Logitec M305)...and it works great from about 9-10 feet away...

That's the same setup I have. sometimes I think I need a remote keyboard but the mouse alone seems to do the job.
