Something a quick lube shop would use.

I seen these also today. The question is, who makes them. They have a coil spring, so that leaves Baldwin and Wix as far as I know.

I thought I read somewhere that Baldwin owns Hastings, but they do maintain different production facilities. Anyone know for sure?

They make OEM filters for Japan, Korean, and Germany. In the past they used to make filters for name brand filters but those companies decided to go to china. They are popular in South America. Made in Thailand.

I was going to go this route but i am still under warranty.
Instead i bought (9) Purolator Premium Plus oil filters for $2.37 each and (3) PureOne's for $3.15 each (tax/ship free).
