Is there an upgrade for PF46/L14006 size filters?

Getting ready to stock up on L14006 Purolators for my GM 2.4 Twin Cam, is there another part number I should consider?

When I look at Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra with 5.3, I get the same 14006 on the Purolator application guide. If I look up the Silverado in Delco, I get the 46 long and UPF44 short.
Does that mean my original filter is the long version of the pf44, and therefore the PF46 or L14006 is as good as it gets?

BTW, with a 40% off coupon at Advance and the $1.50 mail in rebate, I'm paying about 80 cents plus tax and postage for the L14006. Seems like a better deal than the last time I bought PL14006 at Amazon for $9.98/2.

Look up 2000, I think it's Delco PH61.

Yes on the L25288. I think the 59 is disco'ed.

AC delco's site and Advance are only listing the PF46.

Try the AC Delco PF61 or the Purolator equivilant L25288. Both are slightly longer and have the same thread size (13/16-16) as the L14006 / PF46. I run them on my Trans Am that calls for the PF46.

Daman: Are you using a PF 52 in place of a PF 46? They have different thread sizes. The PF 46 and PF 61 thread size match and the PF 47 and PF52 thread size match. Just wondering?
