here are 2 pics (1 smaller, 1 bigger) of my piston.

the starting bid on how many RACE hours are on it begins at 20!

this is an example of what GOOD fuel leaves (or doesn't) behind and how all of the force is driven straight into the rod.

Awwwww, cmon Bill, that looked really funky and cosmic how the display was all skewed up.

Could have put some line breaks in there. Can't be too precise IMO.

That figure came to me in a dream. It was pi by one order of magnitude.
 
i'll get some skirt pics.

some of you are way too high, a few in the "close" range and others too low.

it is a yz250f. and yes it is a yamaha.
 
it was close to 45 racing hours.

here are 2 pics of the skirt.

these motors get most of their technology from F1.
basically the entire piston is nothing more than a means to get the combustion pressure into the rod and a ring pack to keep it from blowing by.

They if not still useable would make a nice ashtray!!
