I had a partial tube left in my grease gun and needed to grease the tie rod lower ball joint on the Pontiac Sunfire today. It is a LB rated grease with a 45 pound timken and a low wear scar result. It is very cohesive and tacky. Drop point is 500 degrees. What do you think of this grease.

Lithium based grease and I believe the wear scar is .45 which is pretty decent for a low cost grease.

Purchased at Walmart for under four bucks. In comparison to TRC greases and Schaeffer's grease it does not have the high timkin load but does compare in water wash out and wear scar data.
Sounds good for your application.
It is a good grease and will work for your application. Shell makes all kinds of greases and plenty of them with 80-100+ timken ratings, but you cannot find those greases at Walmart.
