I was bored,reading through some car forums and came across this on a MR2 Spyder forum:

*I finally had the opportunity to try out the Amsoil MTG which is a good alternative to our beloved MT90 being that it is also a GL4 oil. The reason for the change is that MT90 leaves behind solids from the oil*

That`s got to be a total load of bull,right? Leaving "solids" behind? Huh??????

I also would like to know MT-90 in my 6 speed. If MTG is actually a better option Ill pick some up.

I've ran both MT-90 and MTL, and never noticed any solids from either??

Sounds like he is mistaking normal wear debris for "solids from the oil"???

That's it??... no analysis of what the residue may be made of?... no further description? It's a good post to ignore.
