Nikasil was a disaster for BMW and nikasil Jaguar AJ V8's also had a high failure rate.
I know automotive fuel is supposed to be low in sulphur now, but I don't know if I would buy a non aviation nikasil engine. I would worry a lot more about the quality of gas going in my tank than the OLM if I had a car engine with Nikasil in it.
