CV Joint Removal ... Mazda 3

Hi,

Guys I will be replacing CV boot on my drive shaft ...
I'm planning to take it apart on the bench as suggested before by you guys.

I did some research ... how to separate CV joint from the shaft ...
And Then I cam across Mazda Manual ...

And It looks like the housing is not secured with anything else then a boot ?

Its just really weird how they tell you to install inner ring then cage with balls then housing .. ?

I was sure that

inner ring + Cage + balls goes to housing then I clip it on the shaft .. and according to that Manual


I place inner ring on the shaft lock it with ( C Clip )
I put the cage with balls on it ?
And the I put housing ?

I hope that its clear what I'm trying to say here ...
