Best oil for Yamaha/Star Roadliner

This should liven things up!!

Nephew just picked up a Yamaha/Star Roadliner - an 1854cc air-cooled V-Twin, and is wondering what the 'best' oil would be.

Side note - that thing is a behemoth!! It's longer than a GoldWing!!!

The "best" is the one, for whatever reason(s), you like the best.
The various Shell Rotellas are popular and are good values.

I'd go with Rotella T Synth or non synth 15-40 or 5-40, or Delvac 15-40.

I have an 2003 Roadstar and I use Amsoil 10W-40 MC oil and filter. 1 year oil changes are great!
