Grease for coilover

I emailed bc racing coilover. They tld me to put grease on: On the threads for the lower mount and the thread for the rings.

That might keep the ring and collar threads from; cold welding, galling, and freezing together, (or pitting from salt/corrosion) but just know that it is going to attract A LOT of dirt, grit, and dust as well.

LoL...

You want Anti-Seize, not Grease.

Silver stuff will do the job just fine, avoid copper based because it'll do bad things with aluminum and salt-water spray.

It's to prevent the threaded collars from seizing due to aluminum oxidizing, then when you go to adjust or remove you'll break it, and whine/complain about voiding the warranty.
