motorcycle commuters

I ride my '07 Electra Glide to work whenever I can. It's a 120 round trip, so riding the bike makes an impressive dent in the fuel bill. But if it's under 40 degrees or rain is forecast, I leave it at home. I'd rather spend a few bucks more on gas that day & be warm & dry rather than cold & wet...

Being a touring rig, I haven't had to add anything to make the commute better, but have been considering a wet bar & microwave, lol...

I use mine to commute everyday to work except in rough weather. That’s a round trip of about 35 miles a day. I also do bike trails on weekends.

I ride mine to work when it's nice, and when I say nice, it's gotta be sunny all day and at least 50 degrees before I leave for work.

I ride to work most days, but again it's only about a 7 mile round trip. Thats the current job, the one prior was 83 miles (each way) 5 days a week (one hour each way). Over 20K miles in 5 months.

But then I ride an '03 R1150RT so it was no big deal.
