IMO...the 2 best complete fuel system cleaners are...RedLine SL-1 or Chevron Techron.

I would avoid Lucas.

MMO is usually available for less than Lucas UCL, works better IMO, and is available in quarts at WM.

There's always Amsoil P.I., which really does work in my experience.

I used 2-3 gallons of Lucas in total in the past.I have experienced better throttle response if not fuel economy because of Lucas.I am not buying it anymore since I have started filling up with Top Tier certified pure gasoline (no ethanol in it).

As mentioned, it makes for a good Upper Cylinder Lube, but that's about it. MMO, or even TWC-3 can be gotten and mixed cheaper

I use either Lucas UCL and am switching over to MMO. Our Wal-Marts here sell it by the gallon for around $12.00 as I recall.

I use a UCL @ every fill in both of our vehicles.

Brendan,

I've used it in my 89' Camry and only noticed a gain in mileage by adding more than one bottle from it. This was through out a months of adding one botle per fill-up every week.

If it does work from just one bottle then I can't feel it wether it's from a 4 cylinder to a vee-eight engine.

Personally I use Redline now instead.
